New Orleans Sign Language Services, LLC provides American Sign Language interpreting services, services for conferences, community services, theater, motion picture, educational, medical and legal settings to New Orleans and surrounding areas. Foreign translating can also be provided.

 

NOSLS contracts certified and certified specialist interpreters (including Deaf interpreters). Certified interpreters and professionals are provided access to resources and training to help them to develop specialist level certifications and degrees.

 

Interns are provided the mentorship, training, advocacy and help with locating and applying for scholarships and grants. As interns become ready to join the local workforce, NOSLS helps locate and secure job positions for interns to be hired or contracted by other local reputable interpreting agencies.

 

Credentials and certification of contracted interpreters and interns are provided to our clients per request. Clients are also given the opportunity to meet or interview their interpreters prior to the assignment via video phone or online video conference. Interpreters are awarded for their good service. Requests for preferred interpreters are welcomed.
